I initially had the feeling that this could be a very intriguing book. The cover is interesting and a bit spooky. The synopsis grabbed my attention.
Unfortunately, the First Impression left me feeling underwhelmed. There seemed to be a lot going on, and while it takes time and pages to world build and give readers an understanding of the story, it felt too jumbled for me to be interested in continuing with it.
