The first impression includes a prologue and at least the first chapter. The description of the story is AMAZING! I was immediately interested in this book because the concept is so different. For a moment I thought it was going to be similar to the book Crown of Oblivion which has a lead character losing their memories to win a huge prize in a bereft society. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the premise of this book is very different.
Cover: I like the book's cover and how it creates the fantasy aesthetic. It's not the most interesting cover, but it is interesting enough. I'm glad that it didn't have some random person on it.
The prologue is interesting right from the start. Normally, I'm not a fan of a lengthy prologue but this was okay because it kept my interest.
