I enjoyed reading this book. It was like an adult Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Loved meeting all the new beasts and what magical gifts that they could do and help other with. I liked how each person could bond with a magical beast as well. Seeing the different realm where the beast could go was also neat.
I can’t wait to find out more about Noc’s past in the next book and what will happen with some other questions left hanging.
The assassin family were great fun to read about and had some funny banter going back and forth.
The book kept me engage the whole time with a bad guy and I was always wanting to know what was going to come next. And there’s searching for a solution to a problem in book two I’m assuming.
The cover of the book is really neat as well it was something that caught my eye and love the colors of it.
Looking forward to the second book.
