So starting off I didn’t know this had romance in it. The synopsis didn’t really explain that but it wasn’t a problem. The action was amazing. Leena is a charmer and can tame the magical beasts she finds. Had a real feel of Newt Scamander Fantastic beast and where to find them. I was lucky enough to get a early copy in a trade. The romantic part didn’t take away from the concept of the book. I felt bad for Leena because she was being hunted to be killed because she had to sell one of her beloved beast. It did have its funny moments as well. For me getting through the first few pages were hard but I promise if you stick through with it it will get so much better. I love books that have a magical feel to it.
