I really wanted to enjoy this book, The first thing that drew me into it was the cover and I had really high hopes.
Unfortunately this book just wasn't for me. The beasts in the story were very interesting and I did enjoy those but, I do feel there were a few tropes in it. I hoped for a very strong female character that didn't get caught up with the man and that didn't happen either.
There was a lot of "romance"in this book which I honestly didn't expect with it being labeled a fantasy. The sex scenes were a little much and the wording used in some of them were not for me. All in all I do think this book had a lot of potential but there were some flat areas and was just not what I was expecting from this story.
