I was intrigued by the cover and the story instantly draws you in. The author wastes no time in explaining anything about this strange world of our mysterious Charmer. I want to know more about her and her magical creatures and her banishment. As the story switches POV to Noc I am equally curious about the King of the dead. There is a lot going on here and I want to understand it all. Great start to the story!
