Very intriguing and well written and developed characters that have enough secrets and issues that you want to learn more and those same secrets and issues make you start caring about who and what they are and why have the secrets and issues shaped them. The details are well thought out and fit each character well, molding with and into their personality. The beast charmer cares for her beasts and the leader of the assassins cares about those in his care as well. Both are neither entirely bad but also not entirely good. I will definitely purchase this book as I can't wait to learn more about Leena and Noc and the world they live in.
