The book seems interesting. It took me a little more time than normal to begin to get into the story, but after several pages I started to get a feel for the setting, the characters, etc. There is a little more language than I normally expect in the fantasy series that I read, but not so much that it was off-putting. I think the book has a chance to be very good.
