I think I was hooked when I heard magical beasts and assassins. The world of this book sounds really interesting, magical beasts is just such a hook. I also love a good prey and assassin book, if that makes sense. Where an assassin is sent to hunt down a character, but they end up forming an odd relationship instead. I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Urban Fantasy is one of those genres that I just love reading.
