I read that this book was a mix of Fantastic Beast and Assassin's Creed, which completely intrigued me. The main character is a charmer, who can call magical creatures to her aid when she needs them. This entire premise feels relatively fresh for a genre that is so packed with repetitive tropes. It's definitely peaked my interest, and I would love to read further to see how this band of assassins comes into play.
