The first chapter drew me in with Leena's feistiness. I enjoy a strong lead female character. Her ability to charm beasts is different and intriguing and makes me want to read more. Noc, the assassin also is fascinating and I'd love to read more to learn about this curse he carries. The dialogue flows nicely and the world of this story is fascinating.
