I am not a fantasy reader. I do love the Harry Potter books, but in general do not read that genre. I am amazed though by the imagination and creativity that takes place in that type of writing. From what I have read so far, I think Ms Martineau is a fine writer. I am curious about what will happen to Leena and what kind of relationship might develop between Leena and Noc and am curious about some of the beasts she works with. I wonder if her people will ever accept her again. I will just leave it at that, however, and hope for the best for her. I have so many other books on my “must read” list that I would probably not take the time to read this book. There’s nothing wrong with it, and my husband would probably love it. It’s just not my type of book.
