An original story with incredible characters
I usually know if I'm going to really, really love a book or not from the first few chapters. In this books case, I knew I was going to really, really love this book from the first couple pages.
The world building was flawlessly done and I was instantly intrigued by the characters. I love the idea of a Charmer. I definitely could see the Fantastic Beasts reference and I also got a little bit of a Pokemon vibe from the Charmer aspect. I am dying to know what happened in Leena's past that she was exiled from her home; her people. Who is this past love who betrayed her? Also very anxious to hear more about Noc and this mysterious curse he mentions. What is it and how did he get cursed?
I am so anxious for the release date of this book! It's so unlike any other fantasy I've read, the storyline is so unique and original. I'm way beyond excited for this debut! This author will be staying on my radar!
