I wasn’t entirely able to get through this book. It’s definitely a middle grade book and would be perfect for middle schoolers and elementary schoolers, but is a bit below my reading level (my own fault).
Keynan himself from what I did read seems like a very unique character. He loves to rhyme- he does it all the time. Hehe. His parents are very into the idea of him attending a boarding school that will help him accentuate his artistic capabilities, but Kenyan himself isn’t as into the idea.
I’m curious to see if this will end up being a book series (Again- I didn’t finish the book so I’m unsure if it was wrapped up nicely or not), but I’m all for cute series for middle school and elementary school students.
What drew me to it to begin with is the cover- it’s so cute and ultimately so creative looking! Really gives you a sense of who Keynan is as a person!
