This is the debut novel by author DaVaun Sanders and he did a pretty good job with it! This was dubbed a middle grade book - I agree with that rating, although some of it may be hard to follow for younger readers. The characters are well developed, the plot is fast moving, the plot is pretty original and the reader enjoys most of the story, overall.
Keynan Masters doesn't know the truth about Peerless Academy, his new school, when he discovers that maybe he can do more than he thinks. He makes some new friends and the adventure begins. Can they save the school? Will the magic win? What will happen next? I hope that the author decides to write another one - I think that this author will continue to improve with each book that they write!
