great middle-grade fantasy

KENYAN MASTERS AND THE PEERLESS MAGIC CREW has an eye-catching cover. The premise is fun and interesting. You can't go wrong with a magic school setting. I love that Kenyan is a poet and the main characters are POC. A pet peeve of mine is when books include huge chunks of text-messaging or in this case chat messages. Hopefully that doesn't overwhelm the writing in the rest of the book. This looks like it will be a great middle-grade read overall for fantasy fans.
