The cover caught my attention with the colors and characters, but the story caught me from the beginning as well. The rhymes from the main character are fun and the world-building is intriguing. The author gives clues to the world rather than a complete description. The First Look is enough to want me to read more so I know if Keylan really goes to Peerless Academy and if the golden flash of the acceptance letter is magic.
