Excited for a new magic school!

Middle grade books with magic are always a winner for young readers and the mysterious invitation to a school away from home instantly draws you in. Keynan is a main character easy to root for in a world that feels interesting from the opening chapters. I am especially intrigued by how poetry and words will play a role in this book’s magical system. The opening chapters introduce so many compelling elements that make me want to read through to the end and then hand it to my kids and watch their imaginations expand.
