Charming New Middle Grade Afrofantasy

A while back, I had the privilege to read an advanced copy of a middle grade Afrofantasy called "Abeni's Song" by P Djeli Clark. I enjoyed that book and "Keynan Masters and the Peerless Magic Crew" seems like another book in that same vein. We need more diversity in middle grade fantasy, and this seems to be one way to go about it.
