This book is one of my favorites! The genres for the novel are Domestic Fiction, Women’s Fiction, and Contemporary Fiction. I love everything about this book, from the cover to the actual plot of it. I love how strong and powerful these three women are. I also love the racial diversity in it. I enjoy reading about how the author interprets each character and their growth. At first, I wasn't very interested in it, but after a while, I soon grew to be amazed by it. I had a lot of emotions reading this novel, and I wouldn't change my experience with it for the world. There was a good plot and the characters were relatable. Another thing I thought was amazing that the author did was she showed some stereotypes for each character which made you realize a lot about the family and the members in it. Overall, I love this book and I would give it 100 stars if I could! :)
