Judge’s Girls starts with a long chapter from the daughter’s POV. Her father has just died and she’s back at work for the first time. We get the story from her and the upshot from the reading of the will. Then we swap to the younger (step) daughter’s POV and learn more. It was a good start but the dad dying hits a little close to home, even if my dad died long ago on the west coast.
