The 2 step sisters are best buds, 1 is like 12 years older, but they get along good. The youngers mom does not get along with the older, and the younger idolizes her step sister, which the mom hates. Their dad (the youngers mom, the 2nd wife of the dad (his first wife is the mom of the older sister)) died recently and his will has kinda them forced the 3 of them together, I believe because he was all his girls to figure out how to get along. All of the characters are very strong and multi dimensional, the weakest of the 3 characters seams to be the wife but that could also be because she did not get much time from her perspective.
