I enjoyed reading the excerpt and getting to know the different characters. Their inner thoughts, interactions with other people, and seeing them through other characters' perspectives gave me a well-rounded understanding of each character. For example, my impression of Jeanie changed from thinking she was useless through Maya's point-of-view, to being wreckless from Ryder's perspective, and then changing yet again to her being helplessly depressed in the last chapter. I was pleasantly surprised that I empathized with Jeanie towards the end because she couldn't help being nonfunctional due to depression. Having different characters narrate different chapters provide a dynamic and interesting reading experience.
I don't really like the cover because it doesn't relate to the story (or at least from what I've read in the first impression). Also, the title wasn't captivating; I would have brushed pass this book if I was browsing in a book store.
