The synopsis of the book sounds great-a youngish widow, her adult step daughter and teen daughter needing to come together after the death of her husband. The first chapter was a bit of a rollercoaster told from the stepdaughter's POV. I was completely on board until it turns out she's sleeping with one of the partners in her law firm. The teen daughter also seems very mature for 17, and we don't get much of the widow, but what there is there is a hot mess. This book could be really great, or really disappointing.
