I normally don't read books of this nature. Tho, Sharina Harris has definitely earned my attention.I am interested in just what more this author has to offer.
As I started my first page I was captivated of Maya and her memories of her father Judge Joseph Donaldso. Who has just passed and has one dying wish from the three ladies he loves most in this world. I was fascinated by Maya's loyalty and respect to her father to keep his dying wish involving her stepmother and stepsister. I could feel an unforseen bonding of the three, blood or not. Leaves me to wonder will they be able to put their differences aside and embrace that bond and come to terms with the past and the current challenges it brings. I am definitely interested to know the rest of the story.
