While I really didn't like the cover (okay I kind of hate it, sorry), the characters really drew me in. I'm glad I gave it a chance because I'm very interested to know what happens to Maya, Ryder, and Jeanie.
At first, we see Maya's perspective of her family after the loss of her father, and figure she must have it all figured out and we are totally on her side. As we get a glipse of what Ryder is dealing with, and the hard feelings Jeanie is struggling through, we realize it is much more complicated than what Maya believes.
I want Judge's girls to find happiness after such a tragic loss that is losing a father and husband, and I hope they get that ending in Judge's Girls!
