Enjoyed this story as it was easy to read and flowed. Great characters who I liked right away. Maya whose dad is a judge passed away and wants his girls to be taken care of so his last will and testament has his daughter, second wife and her child all live together in the home. Unfortunately, Maya and Jeanie have never got along, but Maya loves her little sister, Ryder. To make matters worse, Maya's dad who is black who lost the love of his life Maya's mom is now married to Jeanie, 15 years his junior and who is white. Definitely interested in reading this book even if I don't win a copy. Will be adding this to my TBR pile.
