I received this book as an ARC. I rated it 3 1/2 stars (but just rounded up lol). I do not normally read short stories and it was a bit out of my comfort zone, so for that reason I feel like this book could totally be liked by someone else more. However, I did feel like I was learning more about the culture and people groups in the book. Also, I loved the cover on this book. Red stands out to me in book covers, because I don’t see it often on covers. And I love the face that’s on it. Andrew Chatora‘s writing is very heavy and was kind of hard for me to read from time to time, but it was also beautiful at the same time. I didn’t know much about the topics in these stories prior to reading this book, but it has taught me a lot about it and I will definitely be looking into these topics to find out more. All in all, I believe that this book is a very good book that everyone should read at least a little.
