I don't generally gravitate toward the short story realm, but I do enjoy them: reading something that's not so long that it takes forever to get to the point.
This book is different in what I read in more ways than one(besides the shortness). This book is different, raw, and emotional, and it offers perspective to something I could never understand. It's not for me. But I do commend the author for putting this out here because it takes a lot to share a story let alone multiple.
This author has strong writing, and obviously strong wills and ways and it shows in this book.
The writing is complex, like others have said, which makes it confusing at times. Maybe if my interests aligned more this way, might have enjoyed it. Even though I didn't, and I had to power through, the bits that I read were interesting enough. (But still not for me.)
I think this would be perfect for someone looking for something like this, if you know what I mean..
