Interesting dystopian vibes
I love short story collections, so I was interested to give this a try. The setting and cultural influences definitely intrigued me. I was hopeful to learn more about another culture. However, I ultimately don't think I'm the right reader for this one.
The first story really has vibes of 1984 and classic dystopian stories that are very interesting. I found myself really repulsed by even the vague descriptions of what was being done to the prisoners under the radar. As intriguing as the premise was, I really got caught up in that part of the story and couldn't seem to shake it. I don't think this is one that I will check out.
