WOW! I love reading Historical Fiction and this First Look has me wanting to read more! I was about 19 when this story takes place, so I was more focused on college and my social life than what was going on in Romania. I maybe heard some vague things on the news, and knew it wasn't a place I'd like to visit, but didn't know much more than that. This is a fascinating and heartbreaking fictional look into what the Romanian people went through during that time.
