Ruta is the historical fiction queen. I’ve read and loved all of her books and I Must Betty You is off to a great start. I can’t wait to see how Cristian’s life as a spy will turn out. I enjoyed seeing snippets of the correspondences. So much to learn about this time. And communism is no stranger to me as my parents are Cuban and lived in it for some time.
