I am a huge Ruta Sepetys fan, I loved Between Shades of Grey and Salt to the Sea. I am a historical fiction lover too, so this book seemed perfect for me. I didn't expect this book to be a mix of historical fiction and a thriller, but it all worked so well together. Romania is a place I have not learned much about, much less have learned the history of. I love how Sepetys opens the reader's eyes to a part of the world in the late 80s that many of us were not exposed to. I really liked the format of the first look as well, with the spy reports mixed into the story. It makes it fun and even more interesting. I would love to read this one.
