I am a big fan of Ruta Sepetys and I would be excited to read her next book even without having the opportunity to read this First Look. But I'm even more excited after having read the excerpt! I really enjoy her writing style. It's very transporting. She writes with unique detail and clarity. And she tells such nuanced stories that I always learn something new. I can't wait to finish Cristian's story!
