Love this book and I haven’t even finished reading it yet

How quickly life changes. For Cristian it changed with one conversation. Ruta has done an amazing job showing life in Romania under the regime of Nicolae Ceausescu. The writing is sharp and clear. It helps to reflect the tense subject matter of the book and the world Cristian is living in. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book, though I know I will love it.
