I love Ruta Sepetys's books! She's an amazing writer and writes about unique or unknown/little known experiences and this one is no different. The title is so intriguing to me! What does it mean?! And it starts off, just, you can feel the fear, the panic right in the words. This is a horrifyingly true story and Sepetys tells it with such frank honesty.
