Cristian's drew me in almost immediately - a young man with a poetic soul who is forced to spy for a repressive regime. I knew only a small fraction of what was going on in Romania during the reign of Nicolae Ceaușescu. I'm eager to learn more of this history from the master storyteller, Ruta Sepetys.
