I found these sample chapters to be a compelling intro, and I definitely want to read more. The sense of dread and even fear gave a feeling of suspense that I liked. The fact that this is based on real events lent a sadness to the tone but made it even more gripping. I definitely want to read the rest and see how it turns out.
