This book is bound to be a real eye opener for many of us who know little about the atrocities perpetrated against the people of Romania by a cruel dictator. I feel such compassion already for Cristian, his sister, and others. No one deserves to be treated in an in humane way or forced to spy against others in order to survive. Cristian has been placed in a bad position. This is a book I would definitely like to read more of and review.
