The cover is bleak with two pops of color used for strategic effect to heighten the ominous feeling. Inside the First Look are the first 10 chapters accompanied by a letter from the editor. It’s rather long but does a great job delivering on the promise of the cover- you see how bleak life is and mourn for the characters you care about.
