This book follows Alice who loses her sister Claire when she sees a guy named Owen murder her in a cornfield. But is that what really happened? One year later the day the trial is supposed to start, she gets cornered in the bathroom by a girl who is asking her if that's what she really saw. Alice is given a chance to both stop the death of her sister and learn what really happened that night. This is a YA mystery/thriller that I read in one sitting because I wanted to know what happened. It did a good job of giving a lot of suspects that it could possibly be, but the twist almost felt a bit silly to me. This was a fast read I was done in like two hours the book is almost 300 pages. I liked the whole going back in time thing but expected more of a Groundhog Day effect and for the main character to be smarted. There was also a weird side plot with her father being weird that isn't addressed.
