I loved the writing in this book, the story was beautifully written. I was already intrigued by the title and cover of the book. But was sucked in by the beginning of the story right away.
I was living for all the 90's nostalgia and slasher film references. As a big fan of the Scream franchise, this book was amazing.
I was intrigued by the fact that Alice was able to travel back a year ago to try to figure out who murdered her sister Claire. That was a very different storyline than I have ever read before. It gave a unique twist on murder mystery/horror books.
There were so many great twists and turns throughout the book that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what happened next. I kept eagerly turning the page because I wanted to know what really happened that Halloween a year ago.
I think this book would make a great movie and i would definitely go see it. I hope more people find this book.
