Alice's life has fallen apart in the year since Claire's murder. Her parents are no longer together, her new apartment smells, and she has to face her sister's killer in a courtroom full of people who don't believe what Alice says she saw in that corn maze a year ago.
On the first day of the trial, Alice is knocked out in the bathroom. She wakes up to discover that it is Halloween night the year prior, the same night Claire was killed. Alice has until midnight to find the killer and save her sister before another victim is killed.
I know that this one is labeled as young-adult but I was hoping that it was still good enough for adults but I was disappointed. It was too juvenile for me and I wasn't a fan of the ending.
