As a teen, I wouldn't have read this book. But as an adult trying to understand teens, it is a little helpful. So Alice Lawrence is a home-body, highschool student and her sister, Claire, is an outgoing party-girl. Claire convinces Alice to come to a Halloween party with a corn maze, where Claire is murdered. Alice has to be a witness in the trial a year later but then gets knock out at the courthouse, waking up in the past trying to reverse the future. Kind of reminds me of "Scream," or "I know what you did last summer," but claims to be more gory. I had to skip over that stuff since I don't have the stomach for it. Apparently, the author, Danielle Valentine, also goes by the names Danielle Vega and Danielle Rollins. She's written: "The Merciless," "The Haunted", "Stolen Time." I have not read any of those, but people who love her pervious stories are chomping at the bit to read this one.
