This excerpt was great. I love the plot. The idea of a Halloween party in a cornfield maze with at least one murderer and chainsaws is fun enough.
Here we have the sister of a victim narrating (ok, that might not be that unusual) who also wants to study to study forensic pathology and loves slasher movies. That will add an extra layer to the story. I loved the dialogue with the sisters and that will highlight the loss of the one person she might be closest to.
I love books about high school, somewhat ironic since I hated high school. Usually it’s more of the romance trope but this book is very promising and intriguing. I really want to find out how this plays out. I will definitely read it when it comes out. I plan to check out the author to see if there are previous books.
