The premise of this book is amazing and honestly what really drew me in. Both sisters go to a Halloween party where Claire is murdered. We flash forward to the trial where Owen is accused of murdering several people at aforementioned Halloween party. Then due to some shenanigans boom Alice gets sent back to the night of the Halloween party where she intends to save her sister. Sounds great right? Well it was! All the twists and turns and over the top drama from there on was just perfect. But i'm just going to come out and say that the ending of this book killed it for me (pun intended). Up until that point I loved all the "80's-90's" teen slasher drama and the twists and turns that the book had been taking. Alice was a dedicate sister and an all around good protagonist to follow around. But that ending.... lets just say that if there is a sequel then all is forgiven, but some twists just are too much to leave hanging like this one. Made me go "THEN WHAT WAS IT ALL FOR"! But I would encourage you to read it yourself to see if the twist works for you.
