"How to Survive Your Murder" is a great book for anyone who likes mystery and gore. I read this book nonstop because I was so invested in figuring out the ending! I was wrong every time. I really enjoyed the twists in the book and felt the ending really fit with the direction of the book. I also really liked the pacing throughout the story, it was perfect for a thriller. The first couple of chapters were a little slow, but it eased you into the action later on - just like a horror movie.
I really liked the different elements in the book, like the blood spatter in the beginning, the horror movie references throughout, and especially the chapter titles. I connected with the main character, Alice, and felt like I was in her nightmare. I thought the characters were so interesting with their reactions to the events in the books and how that might throw suspicion on them.
