I'm not a YA fan but I do like the premise of this. Something different than their usual romance theme. I like that the main character is into horror movies and pathology and this reads like an 80s slasher movie. Only part that bugs me is the attempts to insert comments that I guess are supposed to be politically correct but instead just interrupts the story and has no real relevance.
