I enjoy murder mysteries: books and podcasts. This book sounded as if it would be something I'd have fun reading. I just couldn't get into the excerpt. The characters did not come alive for me. I also really don't like horror/slasher films, and didn't want to read the parts that referred to those movies. I don't like the cover.
