I love a good horror movie and I love a scary book and this is the best of both worlds. Alice could be me as a teen-- kind of geeky, not a partier, and preferring my scares to come from a page or the screen instead of real life. This feels like the perfect book to read on a "dark and stormy night". I can't wait to find out the truth behind Clair's murder (because there has to be a twist!) and see how the time-travel angle is worked into this otherwise classic horror story.
